Practice Paramedic – Garry

Garry is our practice paramedic and works as part of the wider clinical team, providing assessment and treatment for patients with a range of urgent and acute health concerns.

His duties include assessing patients with new or worsening symptoms, carrying out clinical examinations, providing appropriate treatment and advice, and arranging further investigations, referrals or onward care where necessary.

Garry also supports the management of patients with ongoing health needs and works closely with the practice doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate and timely care.

Pharmacist

Narena Bhopal, female

Narena is our practice pharmacist and works closely with the practice team to support patients with their medicines and overall healthcare. Her role includes reviewing and managing medications, providing advice on the safe and effective use of medicines, and supporting patients with long-term health conditions.

Narena can provide medication reviews, answer queries about prescriptions and medicines, support medication changes where appropriate, and help patients get the most benefit from their treatment. She also works with the wider clinical team to ensure medicines are used safely and appropriately.

Midwife

Community Midwife

A community midwife attends the practice to provide antenatal care and support to pregnant women throughout their pregnancy.

The midwife offers routine pregnancy appointments, monitors the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, provides advice and guidance on pregnancy, and supports women in preparing for labour, birth and parenthood.

The midwife works closely with the practice team, maternity services and other healthcare professionals to ensure women receive appropriate care and support throughout their pregnancy and after the birth.

Our practice works closely with a range of healthcare professionals who are attached to the practice and provide specialist support to our patients.

These professionals include community-based clinicians and services who attend the practice to provide care, advice, assessment and ongoing support where appropriate. They work collaboratively with our practice team and other healthcare services to ensure patients receive coordinated and personalised care.

Appointments with attached healthcare professionals are arranged or offered where their specialist skills and expertise are appropriate to a patient’s individual healthcare needs.
